Did you know that FedEx will pick up, package up, and express ship a package at 3:30am? Same day delivery to a major city? For only....er... well, maybe 'only' isn't the right word here... for pennies a foot travelled?

I do.

I'm at work waiting for them to come take critical data to a transition site. It's annoying, but necessary. And, sometimes, I'm glad I'm hourly.

Though I have a long day tomorrow, too....

Well, at least I'm getting a jump ahead for the Easter holiday, where I don't get paid at all for being off work.

missing sleep....

lately I've had a teddy bear in bed. It's a good thing for keeping my longer hair elevated so I avoid getting overheated on my neck and shoulders.

It also seems to be good at getting exactly between me and elfgirl. Who doesn't mind so much, apparently, as 3am cuddles disturb her sleep cycle. And, with Firfey and Da Boy making sleep weird enough, I can't begrudge her the Zzz's she CAN get.

But I do miss the curling up, her feet on top of mine, and the scent of sleeping wife as I lean my face into her hair. At 3:30am, when the day is quiet and I'm typing and not sleeping, I notice it even more.
