Current Mood: depressed

dimmed.....

Today, the world is darker than I would like. I've gotten sad news from

elfgirl about a friend of hers, and

melonaise is about to return home after a far-too-brief visit. I feel the losses all around. It's strong enough that I won't benefit from some of what I had planned for this morning, so I'm going to be a bit more relaxed instead.

Got to meet cool people this weekend, so that helps, and I did get to spend a good bit of it with my girlfriend, which balances things somewhat. Even so, Monday is going to suck. Apparently I didn't win the lottery again.
