The distribution has changed since I was little. Makes me all nostalgic. *sniffle*

There used to be a definite peak at dark brown. And there used to be light brown m&ms, which often had the second-highest frequency. They were meant to be the backdrop against which the brighter colors stood out. Now it just seems like all color.

I used to keep track. I stopped a couple of years ago, when the stopped stocking the vending machines with them. Just today, they changed vending machine providers. I wonder if they'll now have M&M's. I still have the spreadsheet.

I once heard that at Lucasfilm studios (I think that's where) they used to crack them against each other like pecans and whichever one remained uncracked was the "king" m&m and they sent it back to the company to be used as breeding stock.
