Good sammich

We reserved some of the chicken and veggies from the matzoh ball soup and put them on a hoagie, toasted it, then put on mayo and bread-and-butter pickles (still working through these from a great friend, because they're so good). Oh, my. An amazing sandwich!

Today is the Feast of the Incarnation (9 months to Christmas!) so Lenten disciplines are voided for the day. Go have a soda, some chocolate, and a big steak. As for me, I'm having lamb roast for dinner!

She's smart! Really!

I just had to remind elfgirl that she is supposed to go watch the new BTVS episode in a group tonight.

So, she's cooking dinner early, and I'll eat when I get home from my lab, and all is right with the world. She'd have been so upset about 7:45 or so....
