I'm up. That's it. I spent the weekend: ( a long list )

And, the story... I had the toilet out, and had taken my dremel out to cut off the 20-yr seized bolts keeping the tank attached. After a few minutes (and imbedding some brass in my forehead and right arm) I had everything apart, but covered in fine dust and grime. So, I took the tank and base to the yard, dragged around the hose, attached the sprayer, and started washing things off. This was needed anyway, because the tank had a buildup of sediment, and the base had some sediments in it as well.

The neighbor, doing yard work, looked over. He saw me spraying the toilet. He looked confused, and asked, "what are you doing?"

I replied, "My wife asked me to clean the toilet."

He looked more confused, then asked, "Are you sure that's what she meant?"

I smiled, looked up, and said, "I sure hope so. The bathroom is a mess."

He laughed nervously, and went back to his yardwork. I left the ceramics to dry, and started other chores, amused for a little while.

Pride Weekend, Atlanta

It looks like I may have a date for the first night of PrideFest -- jost! He's a sweet boy. Dunno if elfgirl is gonna be happy with me going without her, or is going to work to arrange a sitter, but we'll work out something. Either way, I don't want the Utilikilt people running out of stock before Sunday! Oh, and maybe there will be music, I'm told. :: har ::

elfgirl had her interview today. Now she's shopping. Should I worry?
