Bad mood. Three day application running to get output for class, died because of a necessary shutdown for storms at home. I blame da
elfgirl because she shut it down, and because she causes storms all the time. That's my theory, anyway. Restarted, and am force-feeding it lots of crap in hopes I can create three days worth of responses, kinda sorta. Nothing like monkeying with the system clock to make one happy.
Doing proofs for RegExp theory is painful, mainly because I have to be zonked to think in a relaxed enough way to generate results. They work, too. When I'm awake and methodical I get crap back from my brain. Gotta figure that out.
Next, minimization of DFAs, and I'm done. Work has an all-day affair offsite which is going to eat into my homework time, but if all goes well I just won't give a damn and will do the work in the back of the room. HAH! Nothing like being near a powerplug to make "taking notes" possible. Now, to avoid anyone staring over my shoulder. If I'm lucky there will be WiFi somewhere, too. We'll see.
Auras tonight are interesting. Migraine approaches, which I can tell because my legs are tingly (during migraines I get hypersensitive skin). Time for tea, as I'm going to be up for a while.
Gimme cookie.

My perfect mate....
Jun. 21st, 2005 11:26 pmSo, you were supposed to pick me a perfect mate. I let you opt for
elfgirl if you wanted, but we have our good days and bad days, and since "perfect" is supposed to be the 1950s smiles and no problems TV family type, she's not quite there, even if she does whip up an amazing dinner from time to time (usually about 24 hour intervals, I've discovered).
Let's see who you picked....
a garden weasel. No, I don't know. Sorry.
Well, not knowing is half the battle with yard tools, I've found. Thanks for changing your mind on this one.
Dolly the cloned sheep
Er... no. I have a new shirt: Baaa means No.
any number of people you haven't met yet
Well, cool! There's hope for East Asia after all!
slipjig, of course.
I think he's taken with someone else.
Janine Garafalo?
Not bad... not bad.... gotta get rid of the bowling ball image, but okay....
me ;) jk.
don't sell yourself short! Unless you are short, at which point it's okay.
I don't think I know you well enough to say, nor do i know anyone you know...
And this matters, why? Come on! In a pinch I could settle for Angelina Jolie, even if she is eight years younger than me.
chrishaas
not until he gets that little rash problem taken care of.
Melon!
Interesting choice, as we have lots of things in common, but we also have some differences that are sizeable (like me talking all the time and her glaring at me to shut the hell up).
me, DUH! ;)
Now, THAT'S what I meant! Getting right out there and being bold! But, aren't you occupied with someone else? Or, am I just that gorgeous? And, what *IS* that gagging sound that suddenly started?
Xena
A good possibility, but I don't know -- someone that can snap my head off when... er... well, that's always nervewracking, you see....
not applicable
A practical answer, I suppose. Either I'm impossible to live with, or there is no perfect mate. But, if we dwell on the practical, we never fly in the fanciful, and only by embracing fantasy can we ever hope to make it reality. This is why I don't give up on things just because they don't seem reasonably attainable, or likely. Innovation, creation, communication all comes from taking that risk outside of one's comfort zone.
Santa Claus
He only comes once a year, and it takes eight reindeer to pull that train, so.... no.
