I recently read a news story about yet another poor person that came into relative riches, blew the money, then died (drug overdose this time, though I have read of suicides).

I began to wonder... Is the liberal suggestion that we redistribute money to the poor really a hope to do them in? Kill off the poor by using their own bad money management skills?

Or am I getting cynical in my old age?

Not so much cynical, as pretty damn funny, and just a touch of conspiracy-theory-ish. It is a tax on the mathmaticially challenged.....and who knows.....maybe your right.....maybe they do use that in a effort to let them rub themselves out.
