Done??

I defend in T-15 hours.
23,345 words.
108 pages.
44 references.

And not a single powerpoint slide, yet. So, how many would be appropriate? I'm going to shoot for <10, since I would rather talk and use a whiteboard than to stand up and click the mouse.

Dude, I wish you luck. And hopefully you'll get some rest.

I agree with having a shorter PowerPoint and longer whiteboard. PowerPoint has become so over used, and most people seem to use it for itty-bitty sound bites that don't even need to be in writing. /rant

Whiteboard done correctly (don't block their view of the board) is much more involving.

You've had an incredible month of writing. I'm pulling for you!

I wish you the best of luck! You'll do great! I've always said you know everything -- to prove it, all we need to do is ask you and you'll tell us.

:P

Seriously, you'll do great.

Good luck, honey. *kiss*

I'd go with as few slides as you can get away with, and keep them simple. Nothing is more boring than watching someone read 300 words of 14 point type off their slides.

You'll do great.

Good luck - make us all proud. Or at least, not too embarrassed.

I think it's the oldest icon out of my set, but I just can't get rid of it.
