I've also seen studies that point out that women are more interested in attractive men during the most fertile part of their cycle, and they are more attracted to wealthy and supportive men the rest of the time. This suggests to me that women are probably just as inclined to cheat as men are, but they might be better at hiding it and/or limiting it to when they are most likely to conceive.
I wonder if this would hold if they controlled for income. I've seen past studies that reveal that women put as much emphasis on looks as men do when they make the same amount of money.
