Monday, again?

I'm tired, I'm surly, and I got slammed for "not doing the licensing on the compiler" when I got in.
Never mind that I was told there was no need for a compiler on that box, and have that email still saved...
so, I am preparing a nice political reply to send up the chain that says "if you ask for a machine to be configured a particular way, that's what you'll get. If you want something different, then don't send me a faulty configuration." Only, I'm not being so nice in the reply.
That sound you hear is me pouring accelerant onto a bridge or two...
