So, I'm back to work. Got in at 1:15, was up at the MARTA station by 2ish-ish, and back home in time to get very worried about the UGA game. Watched lots of football, then napped my way to sleep, coughing and choking a lot. Finally, I got up this mor...er... whatever it was with the time change and me MISSING CHURCH AGAIN... Oh, wonderful. I'm becoming a birth-to-death Christian (one who attends twice a year, at Christmas and Easter).

I'll aim for mass at 7am tomorrow, at least, and hope that this coming week is a simple, light affair.

Must get dinner tonight. Anyone in the Perimeter Mall area around 7:15-7:30 wanna eat for an hour?

Did a sushi dinner. Good thing. Soup, not so good. Must remember to stick with Miso there. Had the famous author [livejournal.com profile] elorie there, with her administrative distractant [livejournal.com profile] thewonderboy keeping conversation flowing. Nice work, too.

I still do something I hate, which is called (according to my conversational therapist) 'personal validation'. This is when someone is telling an event of their own lives, and you interrupt them to say "I've had something Just Like That" and then insert an event synopsis that validates their story. It, to a degree, insinuates that the original storyteller needed that validation in order to be taken seriously, and is not the most polite of actions.

I am trying to pay more attention to that. Some stories need to stand on their own, as an example of the storyteller's life. People don't need my validation. They do need my sushi budget, however....
