From a poll:

Stuffings: egg, mainly. If the object being stuffed cannot hold the stuffing together on its own, it'll need a binder to keep things from pushing apart from the steam that develops during the cooking process.

Kilts: I think I found them on my own, as a side effect of looking up other kilts. I've had my oldest for quite a few years, now.

hee! Alas, not so much. It was a sad state of affairs. And, damned cold that day, too...
