userdom_counts so our advocate (who has gone silent in general, except to bash people who want their voices heard) can be informed.

Livejournal has over 13 million journals created.
How many of those journals belong to members who would like to hear something from their elected User Representative, in their official capacity?
Let's find out.
At the moment there is no posting access here; this is only a head count. All you have to do is join, and you will be counted.
Please note: This community in no way endorses any hostile action towards the current User Representative. The intention is not to harass, just to find out how many would like to hear from that representative. This is singularly about their actions as User Representative and in no way intended as any form of commentary on any other aspect of them.
The User Representative will, upon either contacting the moderator or joining the group, be granted full, unedited, unmolested, and total posting access to this group.
Seriously - we just want to hear from them in their official capacity.
(and posting up multiple "please contact us" messages on forums they use will be counted as spam by lj_abuse so save them the hassle by not doing it)

Date: 2008-08-01 09:04 pm (UTC)I guess the story is that this chick was an LJ employee to begin with? (Really seems like a conflict of interests to me, but what do I know?) And then once she was elected she disabled comments on her journal as well as private messaging and hasn't responded to anyone. The guy that started the community has been leaving messages for her all over LJ communities trying to get some kind of response from her.
The response she gave was to go into those communities and instruct the mods on how to ban him.
So he started this one.

Date: 2008-08-01 10:07 pm (UTC)She ran for a representative position, and now refuses communication from those that she represents. He went around trying to get her to answer as to why, going to those communities that she frequents, as she's cut off other methods of contact.
She shouldn't be unavailable, after taking a job that requires communication.

Date: 2008-08-01 10:30 pm (UTC)I totally agree taht she's failed as a user rep. I meant to say he'd started the community as a result of the drama she's created, and the fact that his other efforts have not only gone ignored, but flat out thwarted.
