As it currently stands, as of 31 Dec I will no longer be employed with my current company. If all goes well I'll have something else lined up, and maybe at the same facility as a contractor, or maybe in a different group, division, etc, but I now have an interesting holiday to spend working on new opportunities.

So, what's up with you?

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you got a good severance package. I think the most important thing to remember is that you'll land eventually. I know it's helped me over the last 13 months.

No severance -- this is a transition situation, and if the transition is not feasable then that's not their fault. Thus my worry.
